Frequently asked questions
No. We do not make a hard inquiry with Equifax or TransUnion. Eligibility rests on instant bank verification (IBV), which looks at your income and account activity. So applying does not trigger a hard inquiry.
Yes. The application runs on a secure platform. Bank verification uses an encrypted, read-only connection. We keep your information confidential.
To apply, you must be 18 or older, a Canadian citizen, and have a Canadian bank account. You must also have been employed for at least 3 months and earn at least $1,200 per month, paid by direct deposit. You must not be bankrupt or have a history of frequent NSF payments. We review these criteria. Meeting them does not guarantee approval.
