Everything happens online. Choose an amount from $300 to $1,500, fill in the form, then connect your bank account for instant bank verification (IBV). The application takes a few minutes.
You have no documents to scan and no pay stubs to photograph. Instant bank verification (IBV) replaces them: you connect your account through a secure, read-only session, and we look at your income and account activity. Have your contact details and your online banking login ready.
We review applications during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. If you receive an offer and sign your contract electronically, the funds are sent the same day by Interac e-Transfer, with no transfer fee. If you apply early in the day, the deposit can go out earlier.
Yes. The online form is open 24/7. An application sent outside business hours is reviewed when business hours resume, so the deposit is delayed until then.
No. An application is not a loan offer. If you receive an offer, the contract shows the date and dollar amount of every payment before you sign.
Eligibility and credit
To apply, you must be 18 or older, a Canadian citizen, and have a Canadian bank account. You must also have been employed for at least 3 months and earn at least $1,200 per month, paid by direct deposit. You must not be bankrupt or have a history of frequent NSF payments. We review these criteria. Meeting them does not guarantee approval.
We do not accept self-employed income, the child tax credit, retirement savings, student loans, social assistance or the ODSP program. We do not accept KOHO accounts either.
No. We do not make a hard inquiry with Equifax or TransUnion. Eligibility rests on instant bank verification (IBV), which looks at your income and account activity. So applying does not trigger a hard inquiry.
Yes. A less-than-perfect credit score does not disqualify you. We do not refuse an application automatically because of your score: each application is assessed on your income and banking history.
Amounts, cost and repayment
Between $300 and $1,500, regardless of your credit history. Borrow the amount you actually need: a smaller loan means smaller payments and less interest overall.
The annual percentage rate (APR) is 28% at most, all service fees included. A one-time $0.95 transaction fee is added when the loan is issued. Representative example: you borrow $300 over 16 weeks and make 8 payments of $39.34 each, every two weeks (the last one $39.33). Interest totals $14.71. With the $0.95 fee, you repay $315.66 in total. The Interac e-Transfer is free.
You repay in instalments over 61 to 120 days, every two weeks or monthly, matched to your pay dates. It is not a payday loan: you never repay everything in one payment. Your contract lists the date and amount of every payment.
Yes. You can repay all or part of your loan at any time, without a penalty.
A returned (NSF) payment costs $50.00. If a payment is going to be difficult, contact us before the due date: a real agent will look at the options with you.
